My name is Dr. Will May and I have been busy in the Chiropractic field for almost 40 years. I thank God for my years of service to my fellow man, because as a young man I had health problems. I was also injured in the U.S. Army. The MD's tried to help me get well with drugs but to no avail, and so when I was discharged from the service I was having a lot of health concerns. I never felt well and I had pain in my body daily. I ended up taking four injections per week for allergies which never seemed to help, either. Most years I seemed to end up in the hospital a couple of times for flu or flu-like symptoms.

After the Army, I went to school to become an electrician and worked in that field for several years. I got sicker and sicker until one day I couldn't get out of bed. My wife and daughter loaded me up for a trip to the Medical Doctor. I was treated for about two years before I was told to get a wheel chair and learn to use it. The diagnosis was that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I would never walk again. Two and a half years later I was taken to a Chiropractor who took x-rays of my spine, did a report of finding, and started working on my spine. Within six weeks, I was able to get up from that wheel chair although walking was very painful and slow. In about eight months, I was back at work as a construction electrician. The Chiropractor explained to me that he had found a bunch of pinched nerves in my spine; he then started freeing the nerves from the impingements. The Dr. also explained that by going to his office for weekly adjustments I would see my health return, and within two years I would be as healthy as my body's potential would allow. That was almost 40 years ago and I am still walking, working, and loving what I am doing for people, thanks to My Lord and Chiropractic.

Yes, I still get adjusted two to three times per week, and I will stay adjusted for the remainder of my life.

Our office offers weight loss, rehab, and top care for Auto Accidents, Premise Accidents, Workers' Comp. cases and of course standard care to help people get well and stay well. We are a full service office offering x-rays on the premises as well as massage.

My name is Dr. Doug Patrick and I was introduced to Chiropractic at the age of 13 when I hurt my neck. I was in a swimming pool and had a kid on my shoulders. He moved forward and I tried to push him back with my neck and I felt a distinct pop. My neck hurt and I had difficulty moving it. My parents took me to their Chiropractor and after the first adjustment, I could move it much better with less pain. After three more adjustments, my neck was back to normal

I've been an athlete all my life and football was always my favorite sport. My senior year in high school, I injured my back a couple of hours prior to leaving town for an away game. My Mom wanted the spare tire out of the trunk of her car and as I lifted it out, I hurt my lower back. I could not stand up and had difficulty walking. I went to the Chiropractor and after he adjusted me I could walk better, but was still sore. I iced my back for the entire two hour bus ride, and by the time we got there, I was able to play. These two experiences were major influences in my deciding to become a Chiropractor.

I graduated from National College of Chiropractic in 1988 and practiced in Illinois for three years. We moved to New Mexico in 1992 and have been involved in the Alamogordo community in many difference capacities.

I enjoy hiking, bike riding, and exercising. Since I have participated in athletics most of my life, I specialize in the care and prevention of athletic injuries. I also design exercise programs for those patients interested in maximizing their efforts to improve athletic performance, or enhance their ability to achieve optimum body weight.

Between Dr. May and myself, we have nearly 60 years of clinical experience. We look forward to serving you and your family with the highest quality chiropractic care available.

Linda Coffin has been on the staff with May Chiropractic for almost four years. I started out as temporary part-time help, and I have worked up to Office Manager. The best part of my job is seeing people leave here in less pain and feeling much better. The patients have become part of my extended family and I feel gratified seeing each of them improve health wise. I am married, 43 years to the same wonderful man and live in Tularosa.  linda
Sharon Nicholson moved back to Alamogordo after being gone for almost 35 years. Immediately I needed a good Chiropractor and became a patient at May Chiropractic Center. Two years later I joined Linda as Assistant Manager working in the office for Dr. May. I enjoy meeting new people every day and seeing their health improve. Working here is like being with family. Dr. May and Dr. Patrick are caring people and make working here so enjoyable. sharon
